CLOSED FOR SEASON
Welcome to Wally’s Diner!
The Diner is named after Kevin’s Father who like Kevin was a man of many talents. Wally could usually be found in the boathouse talking with guests, or just enjoying the view from the West Arm. He was an avid fisherman, naturalist, reader, musician and observer of life. He was a poet too on occasion as you’ll see below.
The office for Lakair is located in Wally’s Diner which is in the main Lodge. Check in at Wally’s when you arrive.
Wally’s provides provides coffee and breakfast for the early riser. It also offers light meals, mid afternoon snacks and of course Farquhar’s ice cream treats. Check out our superb coffee menu as well as the fresh baked goods. Referred to by many as the“Shake Shack” Wally’s offers up a true diner experience.
The Clock of Life….
The clock of life is wound but once
And no man has the power
To tell just where the hands will stop
At late or early hour
To loose ones wealth is sad indeed
To loose ones health is more
To loose ones soul is such a loss
As no man can restore
The present only is our own
Live, love, toil with a will
Place no faith in tomorrow
For the clock may then be still
