Reservations:
At the time of booking a non-refundable deposit calculated at the cost of one night stay in your selected cottage will be required to secure your reservation. This deposit will also be held as a Damage and or Cleaning deposit. It will be refunded back onto the credit card provided at the time of booking within 48 hours after your departure as long as there is no damage or cleaning required in your rental. The full cost of your cottage rental is due upon arrival and shall be paid at the time that you check-in. Your Credit Card will be charged the full cost of your reserved stay if cancelled within 14 days of the reservation arrival date. Deposit may be refunded minus $200 administration fee only if substitute reservation is secured within 60 days and up until 14 days prior to the reservation arrival date.
Check In & Check Out
Check in is 5 PM and check out is at 10 AM. To ensure the accuracy of our reservations and security at the Lodge you will be asked to produce a government issued photo ID at check in.
Pricing:
Prices do not include taxes. Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) is currently at 13% and will be added to your bill.
Cottage Rentals:
Most weekly bookings begin on a Saturday however depending on availability other start dates may be considered. There is a minimum of three nights stay with all of our cottages.
Linens including Premium Sheets, Duvets, Pillows, Bath Towels and Kitchen Towels can be provided at an additional cost per cottage. Reserve your cottage Linens when you reserve your cottage. Don’t forget to pack your own beach towels for swimming!
Seasonal cottage rentals are also available. Please inquire with management.
Smoking:
We thank you in advance for not smoking in the cottages. They are all smoke free. You are welcome to smoke outside but please do not throw your cigarette buts on the ground. Let us know if you plan to smoke and we will ensure an ashtray is placed near your back door. If smoking should occur in any of our cottages there will be a $500 cleaning fee plus 13% HST.
Garbage:
Please place garbage in the garbage cans provided and ensure the lid is securely tightened before 3pm daily. Nightly animal visits can create a mess. Staff will check and remove garbage from outdoor garbage cans daily. Recycling bins are also provided, please refer to the recycling chart on your refrigerator.
Fish Cleaning:
If you are cleaning fish please use the fish house located at the back of the marina boat house. A pail is provided for waste generated when cleaning the fish. Please fill the pail with water to cover the fish waste. Do not put fish waste in the garbage can. The fish waste will be emptied daily.
House Keeping:
We take pride in our cottages and expect that our guests will as well. House keeping on a daily basis is available for a fee of $150 per day. If you would like us to take care of cleaning your cottage please let us know at the time of booking. We work hard to ensure the cottages are clean when you check in and expect they will be as clean when you check out. This includes making sure all dishes are washed and put away. In the event that excessive cleaning is required you will be charged your deposit fee plus HST. If in the event that there is property damage your provided credit card will be charged the replacement or restoration cost in addition to losing your security/damage deposit.
Gratuities:
Gratuities are not included. Any gratuities that are collected are split at the end of the season between housekeeping and dock staff.
Pets:
We have a no pet policy at Lakair. The exception being for documented service animals and seasonal rentals.
Respect Your Neighbors:
We want you to have a good time at Lakair but please respect your neighbors. In order to ensure everyone enjoys a relaxing evening we have quiet hours from 10 PM to 8 AM.
We Care About Your Privacy:
Any personal information you provide to Lakair Lodge will be kept confidential. It will not be circulated to any third party.
