Welcome to Lakair Lodge catering to fishermen and outdoor enthusiasts since 1919. Located on the West Arm of Lake Nipissing in the great Canadian Shield amidst the white pines and waterways that wind their way through a myriad of Islands with many back water bays and intricate channels that will keep any outdoor enthusiasts enthralled no matter what your passion.
The Lodge originally built by Lillian Cameron, remained in the Cameron Family until 2015 when it was purchased by the Anderson’s, long time friends of the Cameron’s. Lakair lodge is partnered with Creekside Villas, a small boutique hotel located in Canmore Alberta. Creekside Villas is owned and operated by the Anderson's daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Marcus Abrahamsson. Creekside Villa. Since the Lodge changed ownership it has been undergoing extensive renovations that will continue well into 2017. In the meantime cabins that have been refurbished and a few “Cameron Classics” will be available in 2016. While renovations are ongoing, we are having a soft opening July 3rd, 2016.
Reservations can now be made on line for July through mid October and some dates may come available in June if things move along as planned. Check the reservation system for availability in June. We look forward to meeting return guests and making friends with new. We aim to provide a welcoming atmosphere for your family and friends.
Regular updates on renovations will be posted on the web site. Daily blogs and photos will be added that will not only keep you apprised of renovations but also highlight what’s happening at the Lodge.
